Fran’s interest in people and the natural world influences her paintings and drawings.
She completed her B.A. in Art at Westminster College in Pennsylvania and 2 years of art and teacher training in England. Four years of technical drafting at Woods Hole Oceanographic gave her the opportunity to combine her interests in art and science.
As Art Director at Elderwise for 8 years Fran taught watercolor and pottery. See a video showing Fran during her time at Elderwise here. She is presently doing silk screen designs for local businesses, children's book illustration, as well as producing greeting cards through her business, Gallimaufry Design.
Fran is currently teaching art classes and seeks to inspire and instill confidence in her students, through watercolor painting.
